About TOEIC Travel vocabulary exercises
Travel and accommodation is a core TOEIC topic area. Conversations about booking flights, checking into hotels, arranging car rentals, and navigating airports appear regularly in TOEIC Listening Part 3, while travel-related emails and notices feature in Reading Parts 6 and 7. Mastery of this vocabulary set provides a reliable score boost.
These exercises build the travel vocabulary tested at TOEIC 550–750: airport language (check-in, boarding pass, departure gate, customs, baggage claim), accommodation vocabulary (reservation, check-out, room service, concierge, amenities), and transportation collocations (connecting flight, ground transportation, shuttle service, departure time).
Questions are set in TOEIC Listening Part 3 dialogue formats and Reading Part 7 email and notice formats — the exact contexts where travel vocabulary is tested. Sets are designed for learners targeting TOEIC scores of 500–750.
